From this point forward, talent alone is no longer enough. Discipline, experience, and execution become the difference between advancing and going home.

Cathedral Catholic continues looking every bit like a championship favorite. The Dons have spent the entire season preparing for this stage, navigating one of California's most demanding schedules while consistently displaying the balance that defines elite programs. Their offense continues creating explosive opportunities without sacrificing efficiency, while the defense remains one of the section's most reliable units. Quarterfinal football demands composure under pressure, and Cathedral Catholic continues playing with the confidence of a program that expects to compete for championships every season.

Standing among the biggest challengers is Lincoln, whose combination of speed, athleticism, and physical play has made the Hornets one of the most dangerous teams remaining in the bracket. Steele Canyon remains one of the toughest defensive teams left in the playoffs, and Eastlake continues building confidence after earning its opportunity on the postseason stage. La Costa Canyon also remains capable of making a deep run, knowing that one standout performance can completely reshape the championship bracket.
